In looking back over I Chronicles and my own notes, it seems that this book is all about order.
As we previously read the stories of these individuals, the path and God's greater plan might not have seemed clear.
But as this book shows, God knew exactly how He would use these people to bring about His vision and glory, and to further His kingdom. He used the free will of His created people and worked them into a greater picture.
As we go forward, let's remember that God is all about order and design. Some seasons in life are messy and relentless, but if you continually seek after God, "He will let you find Him!" And several years down the road, we'll be able to look back and see exactly what He was doing in and through us.
Sometimes it feels like we are walking this life blind. But that's not what is true. What's true is that God has given us this beautiful book full of insight to His character. And even though we may have no idea what He has in store for us, if we strive to know Him, He will let us find Him.
