Rocking forth and back again,
I whisper kisses on your face,
It's time once more for me to send,
My baby to his sleepy place.
Your heavy eyes watch mine as we,
Dance our nightly bedtime dance,
Swaying gently as the sea,
You fight to give me one more glance.
