This is no joke. The day we moved in, the temperature was sitting at 103 degrees. Welcome home, right? But even with the almost unbearable heat, we are glad to be here and are settling in. We don't have a permanent home yet, but a couple from our new church had an empty guest house. The Texas-shaped ice cubes were already in the freezer when we got here. No one has state pride like Texans.
We miss you! My girls (the little ones)have asked if they'll see you guys, but I explained that you're in TEXAS. I showed them the ice cube this morning and they laughed. They want Indiana ice cubes! Just to let you know we are at a very comfortable 65 degrees with clouds and a slight breeze. I know you'll get use to the heat, again.
We're working on the book and will send it soon. Have a great July 4th in Texas. We'll be praying and thinking of ya'all!
